Alex Iwobi ended a 23-game goal drought in the Premier League with a powerful low drive in Everton’s 2-1 defeat against Wolves at the Molineux.

Iwobi fired home from inside the box, stinging the goalkeeper’s glove, to give Everton a fighting chance against the hosts, however Wolves defended valiantly to deny the visitors.
The Nigerian who started upfront in a two-man attack found the back of the net in the 66th minute after two first half goals from Max Kilman (28′) and Raul Jimenez (32′).
On the night, Alex Iwobi scored his first league goal of the season and only his third for the Toffees since his move from Arsenal in 2019.
