Iwobi determined to for Success with Super Eagles despite new role under Eguavoen


Alex Iwobi says he accepts his new role under head Coach Austin Eguavoen and is committed to ensuring the team continues to do well and go as far as possible at the Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.

Iwobi has made two appearances in two games for Nigeria, but both have been as substitutes.
On Saturday against Sudan the 25 year-old earned his 51st cap for Nigeria as a second substitute, coming on for Samuel Chukwueze.
Speaking after the game, Iwobi admits his role off the bench is new but the desire to contribute to the team’s overall success remains his primary goal.
