Nigeria’s Group B opponent Ivory Coast have announced their squad for the U23 AFCON 2019 tournament taking place in Egypt this month.
Ivory Coast released a list of 21 players, Friday, for the 8-nation tournament billed to hold between November 8 and November 22.
Genoa’s highest goalscorer with five goals this season headlines the list while Celtic’s Vakoun Bayo also made the cut.
Chelsea’s goalkeeper Tie Nicolas Basile and Toulouse FC midfielder Ibrahim Sangare.
The Ivorians will face Nigeria in their first game on the 9th at the Al Salam Stadium in Cairo.
While they will face South Africa and Zambia on the 12th and 15th of November respectively.
The Olympic Eagles on the other hand, arrived Egypt on Thursday evening for the tournament they won four years ago in Dakar.
