German-born CB, Jordan Torunarigha revealed why he didn’t accept to play for Nigeria a couple of years ago when he was handed a Super Eagles invite by former head Coach, Gernot Rohr.

Torunarigha said he turned down the chance to play for Nigeria because he knows nothing about the Country and their lifestyle.

He mentioned that though, there were times when he planned to visit, but circumstances such as school and Club activities were the major stumbling blocks.

While he is soon to travel to the Country this summer in company of his Ex-footballer Father Ojokojo Torunarigha, Jordan says he could reconsider his initial position with the Super Eagles afterall, he told Lolade Olawuyi (Soccernet).

The 25 year-old also shared his love for Nigerian music, pointing out the big influences of Fela, Burna Boy and Asake on his choice songs.
