Taofeek Ismaheel has joined Belgium second tier side SK Beveren on a season long loan from FC Lorient.
Lorient signed off on the young Winger’s loan deal, opting to allow the 22 year-old get game time abroad.
Ismaheel who moved to the Ligue 1 side from Norwegian club Fredrikstad, in January 2022 has not featured for the French club in a competitive game.
Beveren Club CEO, Antoine Gobin confirmed the Nigerian brings a huge dynamic to the team based on his abilities and attacking skills.
“We were looking for an offensive player that can bring speed and unpredictability into our offense,” Gobin told the Club’s website.
“When we spoke with FC Lorient we saw that Taofeek perfectly met that description, and the decision for him to come to us this season happened quickly.
“We’re excited to see him grow with us and bring to our attack the dynamism that can make a difference in our league.”
SK Beveren get their 2022-23 league campaign off under way on Saturday in an away game against Beerschot.
