Is UD Almeria setting up Umar Sadiq to fail?

Umar Sadiq made his LaLiga debut for Almeria in Sunday’s clash against Real Madrid, despite reports of a likely move this transfer window.

Sadiq was named as a starter in Almeria’s opening game of the season, the Forward would however be replaced in the 71st minute.
In the pre-season the 25 year-old was inundated with links to several LaLiga teams and even moves abroad, none of which has materialized.
The rumors also affected his game time as he was dropped for the last three games of pre-season, and that rustiness was obvious on Sunday night.
His fitness was in doubt but the player managed to get off 2 shots, 3 clearances, won 3 area duels and completed 3 dribbles.
The Nigerian also lost possession 5 times, joint with Real Madrid’s Ferland Mendy for the most possession lost.
However, the game produced so magical moments including the dramatic late winner by David Alaba.
Alaba curled home a free-kick in the 75th minute as Real Madrid fought back from a goal down in the 6th minute to win 2-1.
Largie Ramazani put the hosts ahead, but his goal was cancelled out by Lucas Vasquez in the 61st minute after period of missed chances and poor finishing.
