Inter Milan could make January move for Paul Onuachu

Reports in Italy have emerged that Serie A champions Inter Milan are interested in KRC Genk’s Nigerian forward, Paul Onuachu.

Onuachu, 27, has scored 11 goals 14 appearances in all competitions so far this season for Genk.

Meanwhile, the €25m asking price is said to probably be a sticking point, with the Nigeria international having only recently extended his contract.
According to the reports, Inter’s interest stems from the possible departure of Alexis Sanchez in the January transfer window.
Should the Chilean leave, the Serie A champions will have only Edin Dzeko and Lautaro Martinez as their strike options.
The inclusion of Onuachu, who could also fit the profile as Edin Dzeko’s deputy will come as a boost to Simeone Inzaghi’s side, who are hoping to successfully defend the League crown.
