In the German Bundesliga, Victor Boniface is making a name for himself as one of the top assist providers, despite not scoring in his last three matches.

The 22-year-old Boniface showcased his skills with two crucial assists in Bayer Leverkusen’s recent match against TSG Hoffenheim, bringing his assist tally for the season to five.

He is now only second to RB Leipzig’s Xavi Simons in the Bundesliga assist rankings.

In the ninth minute of the match, Boniface skillfully outmaneuvered his marker and made a penetrating run before delivering a perfectly timed pass to Florian Wirtz.

Wirtz calmly slotted the ball beyond the reach of Hoffenheim goalkeeper Oliver Baumann, putting Leverkusen ahead 1-0.

Boniface once again turned provider in the 70th minute, when he set up Alejandro Grimaldo at the edge of the box, enabling the player to score the game-winning goal.

Bayer Leverkusen has enjoyed a stellar start to the season, accumulating 28 points from their first 10 Bundesliga games.

The team’s remarkable beginning to the campaign is only surpassed by Bayern Munich’s performance in the 2015-2016 season, establishing Leverkusen as strong title contenders in the Bundesliga.
