Former Nigerian Forward Victor Agali has charged football Administrators to step up their game and get involved in decision-making processes at the level of CAF on the back of Nigerian clubs lamenting unfair treatment from Home teams during continental matches.

Agali opined that Club administrators in Nigeria should wake up to their responsibilities when Opposition Team’s on the continent prove to be poor hosts.

‘Most Administrators and even sponsors including states, still see football as an empowerment scheme,’ Agali argued.

‘Something quite prevalent in Nigeria, but it shouldn’t be so, as it diminishes the value of what the sport really is.

‘People will rather spend money on Pay TV to watch European football matches at home, than go out to Stadiums across the Country to watch our teams play because of the irregularities.’
