Striker, Imade ‘Black Bullet’ Osarenkhoe has made a goalscoring start to life in the UAE Division 1 as he netted in Dubai United FC’s 3-2 loss to Al-Thaid.

Imade scored in the dying embers of the match with his side losing 3-1, he popped up with a goal eight minutes after regulation time, but it would only serve as a consolation.

“I’m very happy to have scored my first goal for my club, United FC. More to come, by the grace of God,” Imade told FL.

“We’re working together with the team to take our next team to a greater height. The major plan now is to get promotion for the pro team. So, the management, the coaches and the players are working hard to achieve that objective.

“By the grace of God, I’m sure we’ll actualize it by the end of the season,” he enthused.

“Personally for me, I think to contribute my quota to helping the team to gain promotion by assisting them with goals and assists. So, hopefully I guess I’ll go ahead and play to hit double figures of goals this season.”

Last season in his debut campaign in the topflight, the former Bendel Insurance forward scored 11 goals, the most important was his Cup winning strike in the winning Federation Cup.
