Fidelis Ilechukwu says the role of MFM FC in his life “cannot be over emphasized”, adding that he is grateful to the club.
On Friday, the Ilechukwu left his role as the head coach of MFM FC after 13 years to join Heartland Football Club.
In a chat with footballlive.ng, He said, “I owe it all to MFM, I owe it all to My Daddy, Dr. Olukoya, the years I spent here reshaped my life in all ramifications.
“While at MFM, I built relationships, took the team to the CAF Champions League, personally developed some players and I was recommended to work with the National team, that’s rich.”
Ilechukwu will be in charge of Heartland when the new NPFL season kicks off.
