Newly appointed Heartland FC Coach, Fidelis Ilechukwu has expressed his commitment towards transforming the struggling 5-time Nigeria Champions into a stable club.
However, he stated that such transformation cannot be achieved in a hurry as ” there is no magic in football”.
He called for the club to be patient as anyone expecting magic from him may end up disappointed.
While reiterating that his primary goal for the club is achieving and sustaining stability in the club, Ilechukwu also expressed hope that the team may get a continental ticket or even win the League in the process.
“I am here to make sure the team is stable; it’s all about stability for now. Maybe, in trying to do that, we may get continental (ticket) or win the league but for now, it is for stability” he said.
