Kelechi Iheanacho picked off right from where he stopped last week to help Leicester City stroll past Tottenham, providing a goal and an assist to help in the 4-1 victory against Antonio Conte’s men.
Tottenham started the brighter of the two teams, and deservedly took the lead through Rodrigo Bentancur in the 14th minute, however, Leicester City weren’t in the mood to lose in front of their home fans.
Leicester’s response was swift and 10 minutes after, they levelled through Nampalys Mendy, the Senegalese got on the end of a lose ball, from a corner kick, and riffled from range.
Two minutes After Iheanacho, who was just coming off a wonderful game against Aston Villa, took center stage and reacted quick to release James Maddison for a simple finish, before netting an absolute beauty of a curler beyond Fraser Forster to give the hosts a two-goal cushion before the break.
At the restart the resurgent Nigerian thought he had laid another assist for Barnes, but the English man was caught a fraction offside.
Tottenham pushed for another goal but lacked the cutting edge and were made to pay for it after Harvey Barnes got a legitimate goal to pill more Misery on the visitors.
With this Victory, Iheanacho has now scored in three consecutive matches, and laying off assists along the way for good measure.
