Kelechi Iheanacho drew blank as Marcus Rashford led Manchester United 3-0 domination of Leicester City at Old Trafford, to move within 3 points of second placed Manchester City.

Iheanacho was a thorn in the flesh of the Manchester United defenders early on in the game as he created opportunities for Harvey Barnes, before drawing a brilliant save from David De Gea with a powerful header.

Leicester City had a lot of scoring chances and deserved to be ahead, but it was Manchester United that took the lead against the run of play through Marcus Rashford in the 25th minute .

Leicester kept on asking questions of the Red Devils’ defence, but the back-line were up to the task as they closed the half with the narrow lead.

After an explosive start to the second half, Manchester United extended their lead, again Rashford was at the end of it.

The Forward picked his brace and the 24th goal in all competition this season.

With the clock winding down, the hosts struck the final blow when Jadon Sancho exchanged neatly with Bruno Fernandez to leave the English man with only a tap-in to put the result beyond doubt.

Kelechi Iheanacho was substituted in the 75th minute for Jamie Vardy, seeing his three-match scoring streak ended.
