On his birthday, Kelechi Iheanacho made his first start in the Premier League this weekend when Leicester City hosted Crystal Palace and the Nigerian showed why perhaps the Manager should trust him some more.

Iheanacho started up front in a two-man attack with Jamie Vardy and hour an hour later he drew first blood for the visitors.
He fought the Palace defender off the ball and finished quite coolly with his left.
Six minutes later he was involved in his side’s second, picking out Harvey Barnes who then set up Jamie Vardy for the former England international to stretch the lead.
However it turned out to be a game of two halves and the hosts really turned the screw in the second half.
First Michael Olise cut the deficit with a fine volley from inside the box before Ghana International Jeffrey Schlupp punished his former side’s sloppy defending heading home, yet again from inside the box.
The sides eventually settled for a share of the points, but the outcome also means Brendan Rodgers’ team aren’t doing well in the early weeks of the season.
Leicester are 13th in the standings and have only picked up 8 points from seven games.
