Ighalo scores to inspire Al Hilal progress to King Cup semis

Odion Ighalo found the back of the net to inspire Al Hilal’s come back win against rivals Al Nassr in a King Cup quarter-final on Monday night at the King Saud University Stadium.

Ighalo, who joined Al Hilal in the January transfer window is quickly proving to be an important player in the side and his goals are coming at crucial times.
Al Hilal trailed the host,1-0 (Talisca 17′), heading into the second half, but the Nigerian scored (62′) to restore parity and inspire the side’s come back.
Eventually, the Blue Waves turned around as Salem Al-Dawsari scored an 80th minute penalty to hand the Blue Waves another Riyadh’s Derby win.
They next face the winner between Al Shabab – Ighalo’s former club – or Al Ahli, whose quarter-final match is scheduled for Tuesday at the Prince Faisal bin Fahd Stadium.
