Nigeria winger Moses Simon admits he must be consistent in order to take his game to higher level with French Ligue 1 outfit, Nantes.
Simon has scored twice for Nantes since his loan move from Spanish side Levante, he also recorded one assist in eight league appearances for Christian Gourcuff’s side.
Simon told a press conference ahead of Friday’s home clash against Monaco, that the team must continue to work hard if they are to reach their goal this season.
The former Gent of Belgium man also tasked himself to be more consistent on the pitch in order to caught the expected heights.
“We still have a lot of work to do, we need to work hard as a team and I think I have to be more consistent with my performance,”
“It is important to also focus on the goal of the team which is winning games.”
The 24-year-old added that he will reduce his famous somersault goal celebrations when he score his next goal.
“My record [back flips] is about 15 but I do not think I will do the same on my next goal,” he said.
Nantes are second in the table behind champions Paris Saint Germain, a win over Henry Onyekuru’s Monaco on Friday will straighten their grip on the position.
