Rivers United must ensure to win all their home games to stand any chance of progressing in the CAF Confederation Cup, according to former Enyimba CB Ike ThankGod.
With the draws already done, Rivers United have the luck of the lottery and are one of the favorite to progress from their group.
The Nigerian league champions are drawn against ASEC Mimosas from Ivory Coast, Diables Noirs from Congo and DC Motema Pembe of DR Congo.
Speaking on the chance of Stanley Eguma’s men, ThankGod told FL none of the sides can be underrated and so every game must be approached like a decider.
‘None of these teams aren’t pushovers; they should not be under estimated,’ the veteran Player said. ‘They must be beaten in Nigeria before facing uncertainties away from home.’
