Hoffenheim 2-2 Union Berlin: Awoniyi steals Akpoguma’s shine in Bundesliga Clash

Taiwo Awoniyi stamped his influence in Sunday’s German Bundesliga 2-2 draw between Union Berlin and Hoffenheim at the PreZero Arena.

Awoniyi scored in the second half, the leveler for his side while they trailed 2-1.
He added to his brace and an assist in the UEFA Europa Conference League against KuPS on Thursday.
The forward improved his goals contribution to six (4 goals, 2 assists) in four matches.
Earlier, RB Kevin Akpoguma leveled for the hosts (14′) after Niko Giesselmann had fired Union ahead.
However, Hoffenheim turned it around, Jacob Larsen with the goal to put them ahead in the 30th minute.
But there’ll be late drama after Awoniyi’s goal and his substitution, Marvin Friedrich was sent off following a second yellow.
It is now back to back draws for Union Berlin in the Bundesliga.
