Al Hilal stunned Copa Libertadores champions, Flamingos, in one of the semi-finals of the competition. The Asian champions snatch victory in a 5-goal thriller at the Ibn Batouta Stadium in Tangier, Tuesday night. Salem Al-Dawsari scored a brace (4′, 45+9′) against Flamengo to emerge this edition’s top scorer competition. Luciano Vietto added the third (70′) for Al Hilal, while Pedro scored both of Flamengo’s goals. Odion Ighalo played 57 minutes on Tuesday, his second appearance, but is yet to record a goal. It is the first time a Saudi Arabian club has reached the final of the Club World Cup, and now can take it a step further. They’ll face the winner of the other semi-final between CAF Champions League winners, Al Ahly and European champion Real Madrid.
