Otto Addo may have breathe life into the next big generation of Ghanaian football, but it’s what he does and is recognized for.

Over two legs, a team the Coach assembled in less than two weeks stunned a star-studded Nigeria NT.
However, and contrary to those suggestions, Addo’s biggest work is in discovering talents or helping them unearth their potentials, like he did with football sensation and former Dortmund star Erling Haaland.
Haaland completed a €60 million – can potentially rise to €150m – move to English Premier League side, Manchester City, this month and the Forward admitted he owes some of that to Otto Addo.
Although the Young Norwegian had been grabbing headlines before his move to Dortmund two years ago, he became an elite forward working with the Ghanaian.
In a mini documentary which captured his last days at the Signa Iduna Park, a chanced meeting between the two revealed how deep Haaland’s admiration for the Coach runs.
“That’s the biggest legend, If we talk about the biggest legends in this club, this guy, He’s the best one,” Haaland openly praised Otto Addo.
“He is the best. Otto,” the Player screamed the name in the end.
Next season Erling Haaland will turn out for his ‘childhood club’ and even before he has ever kicked a ball for the Cityzens, he is expected to excel in England.
