Former Super Eagles goalkeeper, Peter Rufai has chimed in on the conversation of the next destination for Napoli forward, Victor Osimhen.

Manchester City are the latest Club linked with a possible Summer transfer for the 24-year old.

The Cityzen’s neighbors, Manchester United, however, having registered an interest in the Nigerian, are reportedly caught in between an offer for him or investing in England and Tottenham’s captain, Harry Kane.

Speaking on Brila FM, Thursday, Rufai has suggested that it would be more beneficial for Manchester United to cop the Nigerian Striker, who has scored 23 goals in 28 games for Napoli in all competitions this season.

“To be sincere, in every sense of assessment, I will go for Osimhen. The guy is a matador, he is a desperado, Harry Kane is not a desperado like Osimhen,” the former Goalkeeper stressed.

“You can give it to Kane because he understands the England terrain, but the Italian terrain is another difficult place and is one of the hardest in the world; Osimhen coming from Italy would be good for him.”

“As a defender, if you play Osimhen at this time he’d score; he can meander and also good in the air.”
