Henry Onyekuru ends 542 minutes goal drought

Seven games and 524 minutes after his last goals for Galatasaray SK, Henry Onyekuru found his mark again,netting a brace that helped the club to a 4-2 win over Sivasspor in the Super Lig on Sunday.

Understandably Onyekuru was very excited to end an 8 game goalless run for both club and country and also take his tally in the League to 6 goals in 15 appearances.

 

After the match the winger tweeted:

Nice to get a couple early presents before Christmas ⚽ ⚽ ???? and the 3 points!????MERRY CHRISTMAS ????

Onyekuru’s second half brace came in the scored in the 51st and 69th minutes with the score tied at 2-2 at the Türk Telekom Stadium.

 

The win brought Galatasaray level on points with the three teams directly above them in the table and to within 14 points of leaders Basaksehir.
