Turkish Super Lig club, Hatayspor have extended their congratulations to Fisayo Dele-Bashiru for his maiden call-up to the Super Eagles squad ahead of the friendly matches against Saudi Arabia and Mozambique by head coach Jose Peseiro.

“We congratulate our 22-year-old player Dele Bashiru who was called up to the Nigeria national team for the first time and wish continued success”, the club said in a statement.

Fisayo, who joined Hatayspor in July, has been in excellent form in the Turkish top flight this season, scoring four goals and providing two assists in seven league appearances.

The midfielder will be looking to make a mark for the Super Eagles like his brother, Tom Dele-Bashiru did for the Flying Eagles at the 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Poland.
