Gnégnéri Yaya Toure has been nominated for the 2023 Premier League Hall of Fame.
The former Ivorian made 230 appearances for the Manchester City in his 8 seasons at the club and won several laurels with the Cityzens.
Particularly in the Premier League Yaya Toure scored 59 goals and won three league titles in one of the Club’s dominant era in England’s top division.
According to the organizers, The Hall of Fame recognizes and celebrates individuals who have an exceptional record of success and have made a significant contribution to the Premier League since its inception in 1992.
“It is the highest individual honour awarded by the League,” a statement by the PL read.
Meanwhile, Yaya Toure was named alongside 14 others and there are three places up for grabs.
Voting has commenced and the portal will remain open until April 10.
