Zaidu Sanusi had another solid outing for FC Porto in the Primeira Liga, as the league champions snatched a late winner to pip Vizela 1-0 at the Estadio do Futbol Clube de Vizela on Sunday.
Sanusi was handed 90 minutes in the game and the Nigerian put in a good shift on the defensive end of the pitch.
Only goal scorer Ivan Marcano rated more than the LB, who made the second most passes and had the second most touches in the game – only Pepe had more in both instances.
The Nigerian won 4 aerial duels, 1 clearance, 1 block and 3 Attempted tackles.
Meanwhile, FC Porto dominated the game struggled to break down the opposition’s defence line despite having 67 percent ball possession and 13 goal attempts.
However, Marcano’s 90th minute goal secured the win and ensure the Liga champions maintain their perfect to the season.
Paul Onuachu completed a deadline day move to Southampton from Belgium Jupiler Pro League side, KRC Genk in January, but six games into life at his new club, the Forward is yet to hit mark.
