Ademola Lookman superbly answered questions over his goal scoring form by netting a brace in Atalanta’s 8-nil demolition of fifth tier rival Mopella in a friendly encounter.
Lookman was an unused substitute in Atalanta scrappy 2-1 victory against Bologna, but returned to put on a show.
The Nigerian was involved in four of the eight goals scored against the side from the Eccellenza league.
Lookman scored a brace and also laid down two assists, Mario Pašalić bagged a hat trick, while Jeremie Boga and Joakim Mæhle also got on the score sheet with the former also bagging a brace.
This was a good preparation for Gian Piero Gasperini’s side as they go on to face Salernitana at the Gewiss Stadium on Sunday.
Ademola Lookman will also be hoping he has done enough to be in the starting Lineup for this encounter, as he stand above the rest with seven goals.
