Flying Eagles Goalie dumps FIFA U20 World Cup for French Club deal

Goalkeeper Saheed Jimoh has been released from the Nigeria U20 MNT squad for the FIFA U20 World Cup.

FL gathered that Jimoh was permitted to leave the Team’s camp to sign his first professional deal, with an unknown French club.

 

He’s not expected to return to Argentina with the Flying Eagles.

 

 

Head Coach, Ladan Bosso included the goalkeeper in his final 21-man squad, but and the Adoration FC player bailed on the team to pursue a professional Career.

It is yet to be seen if FIFA will approve modifications to the final list which Ladan Bosso confirmed had already been submitted.

Should they be granted a replacement, Mavlon FC goalkeeper John Otunbulon has been picked to fill his boots.
