Gideon David named as Aklosendi new boss

Nigeria National League (NNL) side Aklosendi Int’l FC Lafia has unveiled Gideon David as it head coach ahead of the 2018 /19 campaign.

The unveiling took place at the club’s secretariat in the presence of the management and other staff of Aklosendi as well as some stakeholders and representatives of the supporters club .
The club chairman and CEO David Faith Allu, first introduced the new coach in it training ground to the players after the first training session of the season.
In welcoming the coach, the chairman urged him to try his best in building a formidable team to reach the apex of Nigerian club football as his job has commenced with immediate effect .
The club chairman also went on to charge the new gaffer to carry out his duties with all diligence, removing sentiments in his activities as the head of the technical department in order to create an enabling environment where all the personnel in Aklosendi will have no doubt about.
During the unveiling, the new coach, Gideon David promised to use his wealth of experience to give Aklosendi the new fresh breath of life. In his acceptance speech, the new coach also unveiled his programs and activities ahead of the new season which will kickoff 19th January, 2019.
The new coach Gideon David who worked with experienced Belgian Maurice Cooreman at Gombe United, expressed his appreciation to the management for giving him the opportunity to manage the club out of many who applied for the job and will do all his best to deliver as at when due.
The former Gombe United gaffer will be assisted by Monday Kasimu who was incharge after both Adams Usman and Moga Stephen left at the end of last season, while Alex Ogbe will continue as goalkeeper’s coach
Aklosendi International FC Lafia , finished 6th in group A2 of the just concluded NNL 2017/18 season.
