Gent now desperate to let Onuachu go after completing Ike Ugbo deal


Belgian side KRC Genk are open to selling forward Paul Onuachu this summer FL has gathered.

Onuachu, 26, has been at the center of several interests including from the premier league and inside of Belgium, but the club’s asking price is considered unrealistic.
FL sources in Belgium revealed Genk have a replacement (Ike Ugbo) for the Nigerian and will be open to receiving formal bids even on the final day of the transfer window, August 31.

It was rumored last January that Ligue 1 side Olympique Lyon made enquiry for the player, but Gent refused to listen to offers.
Afterwards, the Forward went on to score 33 goals, setting a new club record for the most goals in a single league season.
