Despite rumors of a possible move to Jupiler League side, KRC Genk this January, there’s been no indication from Slavia Prague or representatives of Yira Sor that a transfer is imminent.
Sor was the subject of a failed negotiation between the two clubs last summer, the break down in negotiations over the value of the Player’s transfer fee.
The youngster who moved to Europe from Nigerian semi-professional side 36 Lions, joined Slavia Prague last season.
He signed a five-year deal which runs until 2026 and is currently valued at just under €5million.
But, recent stories circulating about that potential move to Belgium puts the agreed fee at €6.5million and a likely transfer record for the buying club.
Sources are quoting Belgian media outfit HLN on the alleged agreed fee, which is .5million euros more thank Genk paid for their star forward Paul Onuachu in 2018 from FC Midtjylland.
Last season, the 22 year-old made 17 appearances for Slavia Prague in all competitions. He scored 7 goals, six of which were in the UEFA Europa Conference League.
Nigerian forward Suleiman Abdullahi played 81 minutes for Union Berlin in the pre-season friendly against OGC Nice in Austria at the weekend.
