There is a plea going round for Gareth Bale to end his retirement from football and complete a spectacular move to Wrexham.

Bale called time on his international career after the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. His final club appearance was for D.C. United in a thrilling MLS Cup victory.

However, Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney; the owners of Wrexham, has pleaded with the former Real Madrid and Spurs player to change his mind and sign with the National League champions.

The former Wales captain recently commented on Wrexham’s promotion to the Football League, which prompted McElhenney to ask Bale, 33, for a round of golf and urge him to “un-retire” and take advantage of “one last magical season.”

The taunting continued after Reynolds posted a photo-shopped image of Bale sporting a Wrexham shirt, but it appears the two are sincerely interested in signing the five-time Champions League champion, and McElhenney has now made an impassioned appeal.

On the Aarthi and Sriram show on YouTube, he made an appearance and informed the 33 year-old that Wales is depending on him to “do the right thing”.
