Former Super Eagles utility player Garba Lawal has called the Flying Eagles Head Coach Paul Aigbogun to start Success Makanjuola in the team’s next game against Ukraine.
Makanjuola has enjoyed good rave reviews from the media lately, but he has started the last two game of the Flying Eagles at the ongoing FIFA U-20 World Cup from the bench.
Following the team’s ridiculous and embarrassing performance in the defeat against the USA on Monday, where the team struggled to create meaningful chances up front, Garba Lawal believes Makanjuola is the player to help the team with creativity.
“Considering what the regular starter has offered, I watched closely in the two matches to know he has something different as a natural left footed player.
The former FC Roda player concluded by saying, “Don’t forget he is the only left-footed player among all the wingers in the team so, he can use that to help the team now that they need to win their last game to qualify.”
The Olympic gold medal hereby calls on the coach to start the player in the last Group D game with Ukraine on Thursday.
