Super Eagles and Southampton FC midfielder, Joe Aribo, has been offered a chance to resuscitate his career after a dismal debut season in the English Premier League.

Turkish Super Lig Champions, Galatasaray are reportedly showing interests in acquiring the Nigerian.

Aribo enjoyed a fine spell in Scotland for three years where he scored 26 goals and 25 assists in 149 appearances for Rangers.

He picked up the Scottish Premiership winners’ medal and the Scottish Cup and made the Europa League final, where he also scored, before completing re he joined £6 Million return to England.

The move did not quite go according to plan for the Nigerian midfielder, despite picking up a decent run of games in the early days of his career in the Premier League for Southampton under Ralph Hasenhüttl, playing 15 times and scoring twice in all competitions.

The dip in form and game time came when Hasenhüttl was fired and Nathan Jones took over the reigns at Saint Mary’s.

Aribo was further dropped to play with the youth team after Jones was sacked and Ruben Selles took over.

Aribo may be one of the players who the Saints are ready to trade as they attempt to shed some financial weight following their relegation, and according to a Turkish source, the Super Lig Champions plan to bolster their squad for next season’s campaign.
