Valentine Ozornwafor insists his loan deal to Spanish second division side, UD Almeria from Galatasaray is important for his growth and development as a footballer.
Ozornwafor joined Galatasaray in this summer, but he was not guaranteed first team football ahead of the new season by Manager Fatih Terim.
The defender revealed his conversation with the Manager before the loan deal was struck proved he was still a crucial part of Gala’s plans in the future.
“First of all I just want to appreciate God for my life. Moving to a division two club side in Spain where I can play football, nothing has changed; It’s the same football and all I want to do is to learn every day to develop myself, that’s the most important thing,” the former Flying Eagles player told footballlive.ng.
“It does not matter where I am, what’s important is, how I adapt and how I will be the top player I want to be.
“I spoke with the coach he told me, I’m good, am a wonderful player, but may be for now, no much space and that I will go somewhere to have playing time. That’s the most important thing for me, nothing much but I really need to have playing time and to work out.” he concluded.
