Frank Onyeka’s Brentford Lose to Arsenal

A solitary Reiss Nelson goal condemned Brentford to a home defeat to Arsenal in the third round of the EFL Cup, on Wednesday.

The visitors took an early lead, when Nelson and Eddie Nketiah teamed up for the game’s only goal, which came in the 8th minute.

Brentford boss, Thomas Frank handed Frank Onyeka a starting spot, and the Midfielder put in a good performance.

Onyeka, however, was replaced in the 79th minute for 19-year-old forward, Michael Olakigbe.

Regardless of the introduction of fresh legs and more attacking options, the Bees couldn’t find a way past Arsenal defence.

In the next round, Arsenal will go up against West Ham in another London derby.
