Frank Onyeka returned to action after several weeks injured and he made an appearance for Brentford’s Reserve team.
Onyeka even got on the score sheet, as he steps up recovery ahead of his return to first team action.
The 26 year-old Midfielder has been out of action since Novembe; coming on for Wilfried Ndidi in Nigeria’s 4-nil friendly defeat against Portugal, and has been out for eight weeks of game action for Brentford.
His return date to first team action has not been confirmed, but, it is unlikely he’ll make this weekend’s matchday.
So far, in his absence, Brentford have powered on in the English Premier League, sitting in 8th position on the log.
Frank Thomas’ side have only lost once in the absence of the all action Midfielder, a narrow 1-0 defeat to West Ham.
