Francis Uzoho kept a clean sheet in Omonia Nicosia’s 1-0 win against Chloraka in a Cypriot First Division match at the weekend.
Omonia continued their revival in the League since the sacking of Neil Lennon and have only lost once in their lost once in their last five games.
For Uzoho, after the embarrassing 4-0 defeat to league leaders APOEL Nicosia, has kept clean sheets in back to back games.
The 24 year-old has shut out opponents in three of the last four league games and in only nine league appearances.
Meanwhile, Sunday’s victory inspired by Roman Bezus’ stoppage time (90+5′) goal ensured Omonia Nicosia consolidated on their hold of the final Championship playoff spot.
Next up for Yannick Ferrera’s side is a road game away at AEK Larnaca on Friday.
