Four years on Osimhen and Chukwueze take on Super Eagles challenges

In 2015 Victor Osimhen and Samuel Chukwueze announced their arrival on the world stage as Nigeria’s biggest young talents.

Osimhen finished the tournament with the most goals and till date a tournament record 10 goals. He also won the Silver Ball.

 

Meanwhile, Chukwueze won the Bronze boot with three goals and three assists in the competition.

 

Today, four years down the line, both have made their senior caps for the Super Eagles and are enjoying a blossoming club career in Europe.

 

One the darling of La Liga side Villarreal and the other Lille OSC’s new kid sensation.

 

On Tuesday they will return to action with Nigeria after helping the Country win Bronze at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.

 

In an instagram post on Sunday, Osimhen share a picture of himself and Chukwueze in during the Eagles practice session.

The post got over ten thousand likes including from Super Eagles midfielder John Ogu, who had also predicted the rise of Osimhen as the next best thing since the Legendary Rasheed Yekini.

 

Nigeria will face Ukraine in an international friendly on Tuesday in Dnipro where both attacking players will hope to further improve their stock.
