Odion Ighalo has admitted he is tempted to return to the English Premier League, but his contract with Chinese Super league side Shanghai Shenhua could be a stumbling block.
Ighalo excelled at Watford before his move to Changchun Yatai, but the Chinese club was relegated.
The former Nigerian international was then linked with a move to Barcelona, but decided to remain in China, joining Shanghai Shenhua with whom he won his first career title.
With the end of the 2019 Chinese Super League, reports have once again linked the Striker with a return to the Premier league.
In an exclusive interview Ighalo told brila.net that a return to the English football is indeed possible.
“The Premier League is the best in the World and of course I would love to go back, with Watford or any other team, but I have a contract with Shanghai (Shenhua) and we’ll see how it goes.”
