Former Remo Stars defender, Rashid Sodik has joined Rabotnicki as their latest signing from Skopje.

His arrival is expected to bolster the team’s defensive lineup, with manager Milan Ilievski counting on Sodik to strengthen their defensive capabilities.

The player has agreed to a two-year contract with Rabotnicki as announced by the club on Twitter yesterday and was billed to begin training today, Thursday.

“I am honored to wear Rabotnicki’s shirt. When the offer arrived, I didn’t hesitate at all.

“I know very well what the pedigree of this club is in Macedonian football. I hope to contribute to the achievement of the club’s goals in the coming period,” said Rashid Sodik.

Having spent last season at FC Skopje, where he featured in 16 matches and accumulated a total of 2,227 minutes of playtime, the Defender is well acquainted with the landscape of Macedonian football.

During his time at FC Skopje, he stood out as one of the team’s most impressive performers.

Sodik began his football career with the Nigerian club Remo Stars before venturing to Europe, initially joining the Norwegian club Fremad Amager.

He has also had stints with Alania Vladikavkaz and Vista Gelenzik, gaining valuable experience from his time with various clubs.
