Former Super Eagles midfielder, Edema Fuludu has rated the last ten years of football in Nigeria 5/10.
According to Fuludu the last decade in Nigeria, there was very little ‘meaningful’ activity as far as football development is concerned.
“After 10 years, if you measured it, Nigeria has been up and down forward and backward, qualified and failed to qualified for competitions,” Fuludu told www.brila.net.
“This year may not be good one for football, because the rate at which we have crashed out of competitions in the age grade shows we didn’t do much to build.
“Nigeria needs to reform its football policies and begin to make sure that administrators develop young players and in a transparent manner then we can proceed to a bigger space.
“So all in all, if i want to rate football in this country for the last ten years, i will say it’s five over ten,” he concluded.
