Former Nigeria U20 MNT Coach, Emmanuel Amuneke has advised the team to have faith and give themselves the chance to win against Argentina in their FIFA U20 World Cup, round of 16 match.

The Flying Eagles lost their final game of the group stage against Brazil, which sent the team who had topped the group down to third place.

They qualified via the best losers route, and by virtue of the result, it meant that they were bound to play one of the best teams in the tournament.

However, with beliefs waning, Amuneke has urged the team to believe in themselves as the knockout stage is a different ball game.

Amuneke also predicted a difficult test against Argentina; as host nation.

The former Zanaco head coach explained that their chances of qualification depend on their ability to defend and also their ability to defend well.

He said the Players need to believe in themselves – as they have shown in the tournament so far – to earn the respect of the fans.
