Stoke City are ready to cut ties with Peter Etebo and the midfielder will play in the final year of his contract on loan away at Greek Super League side Aris Thessaloniki.

Etebo joined Stoke in 2018 on a five-year deal from Feirense, but two seasons later, owing to a number of reasons, he has been sent out on loan three times.

In his fourth loan deal away from the Potters, the 26 year-old will hope to revive his career at Aris.

Aris will have Etebo for a season until June 2023, when he becomes a free Agent.

While the deal to join the Greek club was finalized in September, the Nigerian had his first full training session on Tuesday.

The session was overseen by former West Ham, Newcastle and Crystal Palace Manager, Alan Pardew.

Pardew and Etebo have no prior working relationship, but both will hope that the first time will be a charm.

Currently, Aris sit sixth in the League standings and face second placed AEK Athens this weekend.
