Sunusi Ibrahim is a slap in the face of propriety and the Coaches of National U17 team must do the right thing by throwing him out says former Nigeria international Edema Fuludu.
Sunusi had been the subject of debate among football fans over the strikers age.
According to the player himself, people falsely accuse him as an age-cheat, but their allegations are far from the truth.
But, in a chat with footballlive.ng, Fuludu insists the decent thing to do is for the Coaches to avoid embarrassing the country and let the player leave.
“That boy can’t be in the Eaglets team it’s not proper, I don’t know if they are pushing him or someone is telling him or the coach does not know that he’s not suppose to invite him to the camp, until MRI will throw him out or something else.
“It’s not proper at all, have you seen a 14 year-old boy playing in the NPFL league before? Please they should stop that rubbish,” he concluded.
Sunusi Ibrahim who jointly emerged highest goal scorer at the previous abridged NPFL with Akwa United striker, Mfon Udoh scoring 10 goals each.
His inclusion in the Eaglets squad raised eye brows concerning the “alleged” age he’s claiming to be.
