For their Federation Cup semi-final matchup against Bendel Insurance, Warri Wolves striker Shedrach Okere is expected to make a comeback.

In the first half of their victory over Lobi Stars in the quarter finals, last month in Ijebu-Ode, the Seasiders’ leading scorer was replaced.

Shedrach suffered an injury during the game, raising concerns that he might not return to action for Warri Wolves this season.

The player has resumed training, and according to Warri Wolves gaffer, Jolomi Atune, who also confirmed the player is likely to feature in the Federation Cup match.

“Shadrach is training again and travelled with the team to Lagos.”

“He is an important player for us and we are really counting on him for our progress,” Atune said.
