Flying Eagles coach Ladan Bosso has sent invites to Arsenal starlet Joel Ideho and other foreign-based players ahead of the FIFA U20 World Cup in Argentina as the gaffer prepares to announce his final list for the tournament.

Netherlands-born Ideho was set to participate in the 2023 AFCON U20 tournament, but was unable to due to the expiration of his Nigerian passport.

The youngster is now set to link up with the team as they face an uphill task in the tournament group stages, where they’ll battle against Dominican Republic, Italy and Brazil in Group D.

Ideho is highly regarded within and outside Arsenal, who won the war of interest when they snapped him up from Ajax U18s.

He is versatile and plays both as an attacking midfield and a left winger. His performances also caught the attention of Mikel Arteta who once included him to train with the first team.
