Nigeria U20 will take on Italy U20 in their second group match at the FIFA U20 World Cup, this Wednesday.

In the current group standings, Nigeria U20 is second following the 2-1 victory against the Dominican Republic, while Italy U20 are top of the standing courtesy the 3-2 win against Brazil U20.

The winner of Wednesday’s calsh secures their progress through to the next round, and it is a chance the Ladan Bosso’s team don’t want to pass up – with the game against Brazil U20 also ahead.

However, if the win against the Dominican Republic is anything to go by, then the Flying Eagles have their work cut out for them, but, as Coach Ladan Bosso promised we hope to see a more composed team in attack compared to how wasteful they were in their opening game.

The game against Italy is the first major test of the Flying Eagles so far, and they would need a convincing performance against the Azzurrini.
