FIFA U20 World Cup: Flying Eagles Fears No Foe Ahead of R16 Clash – Aniagboso


Flying Eagles qualified for the FIFA U20 World Cup round of 16, but through the best third-place ranking after clinching six points in the group stages.

Flying Eagles goalkeeper, Chijoke Aniagboso has revealed that they are not worried about the round of 16 opponent.


In a chat with FL, Aniagboso revealed that the defeat to Brazil U20 was down to lack of concentration and revealed that they are not scared of facing the United States in the round of 16.

“The defeat was down to lack of concentration, we will go back and work more to fix our mistakes,” the Goalkeeper told FL.

“No team is small no team is big, there is nobody we have to avoid. We have to come all out and play anybody we get.

“Nigerians should keep on believing in us and praying for us, it’s not yet over. It’s football and sometimes we lose in order to improve in the next games.”
