Nigeria’s U17 Women’s NT head Coach Bankole Olowookere, has maintained optimism ahead of the World Cup tournament in India.
With the Flamingos billed to play their first group game against Germany on October 11, Olowookere stressed that his team is prepared for every hostility without undermining any opponent.
The Nigerian Coach said the team is well in shape and have fixed all that is needed in preparation for the tournament.
He also highlighted the team’s training tour of Turkey as not a jamboree, he maintains that it is purposed for the ladies to gain exposure.
‘It is the normal thing to do because most of them are still in Secondary school, and it’s why the NFF deems it necessary to give them a bit of exposure beyond Nigeria.’
